Small Grants

Dhrishiv Foundation wants to support young people who want to help others in need. The purpose of this fund is to encourage and empower local communities by funding local projects in particular neighbourhood.

So, if you are planning a project in your local community or neighbourhood and need financial assistance with the cost, please read on!

The Foundation particularly wants to support those young people who take initiative to work with local communities.

The maximum grant offered will be INR 60,000 per project, and we will only fund up to 50% of the actual cost of your project. (We expect you to be committed to raising the balance)

 For example:

• If your total project cost is INR 20,000, we will award a maximum of INR10,000
• If your total project cost is INR10,00,000, we will award a maximum of INR 60,000

The project you are involved in must achieve the following objectives:

• Be of benefit to other young people/the wider community
• Help you to raise your aspirations and achieve more out of life
• Challenge you and increase your personal or social development in some way

To apply for a grant you must:

• Ensure that your project involves voluntary work
• Be undertaking this project with a neighbourhood or community
• Apply at least 3 months but not more than 9 months before the project's start date
• Make a financial contribution by raising at least 50% of the cost yourself to take part
• Submit a report after the project which may be used on the Dhrishiv Foundation’s website/in local press

We will not fund:

• Groups or individuals who submit incomplete applications
• Projects where the total project cost exceeds INR 60,000
• Individuals that have already been funded in last 12 months
• Applications for projects where statutory provisions have been made
• Applications which are solely asking for funding for non-education related costs
